NAHANT — Chief Michael Feinberg is pleased to announce that the Nahant Fire Department is participating in the Toys for Tots program over the next month.
From now until Dec. 20, the Nahant Fire Department will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children ages infant to 16.
Drop-off boxes will be set up in the lobby of the fire station, 67 Flash Road, which is open to the public from from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
“With residents already thinking about gifts for their loved ones, we hope they’ll join us in supporting less fortunate children this holiday season,” Chief Feinberg said. “These gifts, no matter the size, can go a long way toward helping children in need have a happy holiday, and we’re proud to be a part of the incredible work of Toys for Tots.”
Toys for Tots is an initiative started by the U.S. Marine Corps that works to collect gifts for children in need during the holidays. For more information, or to make a monetary donation, click here.
